A nice little airport with plenty of AC parking. The Hanger One Cafe is small and crowded, but the food was excellent and the service was very fast. There is also a museum there that was closed during my visit but that looked interesting.

4/20/11 Bambi's Hangar One Cafe is a great place to visit - open 7 days a week. Staff make you feel very welcome and service is excellent. Good reliable comfort food - my favorite is the tuna melt. Their pies are reputed to be excellent. Pilots flying into Hemet are usually good about announcing position and intentions. Advise giving French Valley a wide berth if approaching from or departing to the south to avoid any conflicts with their downwind traffic. Highly recommended.
