Landed at HSV 10/03/2011 and stayed overnight departing 10/04/2011. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the service was. Kathy asked me if I was an AOPA member and told me that the landing fee was waived for AOPA members and also AOPA members receive a 50 cent discount on fuel on Saturdays. I requested a rental car and they had it brought over before I finished unloading the plane. Kathy gave me the "crew rate" of $47.00 on a full size Impala. All of the staff were very friendly and anxious to serve. Fuel price was as expected for an FBO on an airport this size. I was flying a C-177B but they treated me like I owned a Citation. I highly recommend this very nice, clean efficient and friendly FBO. Steve Dunn N30967

Was hesitant to stop here given the other posts. I found the service to be excellent and very friendly. Linemen went out of there way to help with a disabled passenger and to make sure we had everything we needed. Service was quick and probably 3 different people went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and to make sure they were ready to help us out when we were ready to go. Alissa on the front desk was great. The $68 Handling Charge was waived and we received a $0.50 discount per gallon of gas labeled WKND TKOFF AVGAS. Don't know if the discount and waiver of handling charge were given because it was a weekend, because we were an Angel Flight, or because we purchased 76 gallons of gas for our Seneca. Gas before Fed tax and discount was $5.319 per gallon which was within range of what we have paid elsewhere and with the 50 cent discount, was the cheapest gas we purchased all day. Facilities were were very modern, clean, and comfortable. Would not hesitate to come back. ATC was very easy to work with on the way in and out. Very good experience all the way around.
