Solid airport, tower is great. Crew at New Haven always helpful. Nice FBO.

I've done a lot of flying at KHVN. The guys in the tower are usually very good, though I've had some issues with them once or twice (unneeded chatter with a guy on the ground while I was on final). Runways are nicely paved and the airport is generally quiet. Lots of private jets come in and out of there, which are always fun to watch. Robinson Aviation is the major FBO on the field, and they are very polite and courteous. I did most of my PP training there, and I was very happy with it. Gas prices seemed a bit high, but I only rent so it doesn't affect me all that much.
