went into hya for lunch at an excellant french restaurant, controllers friendly and professional as well as the folks at griffen aviation will be back

STAY away from RECTRIX FBO. Went in to HYA to have dinner with friends . Was told that if I did not return by 7pm, they would charge me $125/hr to wait for me and let me get back out on the ramp to my plane. We arrived at 6:45pm and was charged a $165 'ramp fee'!

Had an excellent experience with the controllers at HYA - on an instrument flight with low ceilings, they were fast, professional and very helpful. Had an overall great experience with the Griffin FBO, a fast rental car from Thrifty and a wonderful Bed and Breakfast (Ashley House) only a few miles away. This trip will be a repeater for my family as we look for wonderful ways to use our General Aviation aircraft.
