Landed on Fri before Memorial day. Andrew and crew were exceptional. They arranged a room at the Riverside and a shuttle picked up the three of us. The next morning we were there at 0600 but FSS said red flag winds and 500 ft ceilings over the Tehachapi's (sp) so we decided to drive home to MOD. They went the extra mile. Mike got his girlfriend to come down and open up so we could get a car rental. We were on the road by 0730. Service was excellent and the cold water bottles were a blessing especially in the heat of the day. I flew back Memorial day to get my plane, a 172, and they had fueled it and it was ready to go. All in all they provided excellent service, even though we had to change plans.

When I went for the Superbowl, no Andrew around to offer a ride to the Aquarius for the 4 of us (oldest passenger over 90). Had to wait about 20 min for the taxi. Filled up with 30 gal thinking getting 2 days free parking, got only 1, been told you have to fly in ea. day. But service on the ramp was excellent. Facility very clean and well equipped. I will find out what else is new tomorrow, hopefully positive change and less windy too.

Landmark was excellent. Dont' let the size of the FBO fool you, they have the best people around. Flew in Saturday morning to stay at the Aquarius for the weekend. Andrew and Chris are top notch and took great care of us. Andrew met us at our plane with cold water and a ride to the FBO. When I asked about a taxi to the hotel (no hotels will drive the 3 miles to p/u at airport) Andrew insisted on taking us! When we left Sunday we only needed 10 gals of gas to top off but they waived the usual parking fee anyway (15 gal min). Also, the Aquarius is a good, clean place to stay.

Landmark Aviation has wonderful service! When we arrived, they picked us up in the golf cart, called us a cab, and had nice cool water available in the FBO. The next morning I found that my altenator had died. There isn't a mechanic available on the field, but they helped me decide where to fly to have my plane fixed. Nothing to say but good things about these folks!

This was my first flight into KIFP and I was extremely impressed with the service from Landmark Aviation. I called them about 20 miles out, and they met me with a golf cart to haul passengers and baggage and had a cab waiting to take us to the casino. The personnel were all extremely friendly and professional, and the facility and lounge were top-notch. I had made a reservation with Landmark online, and got a quick response from them with information regarding transportation, fuel prices, and parking. FYI, some hotels will provide transportation while others will require you to take a cab (about $12). The airport itself is a bit eerie. It's a huge runway and nice facility but with almost no traffic. The tower opens at 0800 and I was the first plane out of there at 0900. Perhaps it is busier during the winter months.
