First time in to the area and had a great experience. Tammy at Honaker Aviation was a pleasure to deal with. The FBO is extremely nice and clean. Easy 15 minute drive to downtown Louisville. We spent a very pleasant afternoon incuding a visit to the Muhammed Ali Center, a walk around downtown and a nice lunch. What a fantastic way to spend a sunny February Sunday. Service was great by everyone at Honaker. I won't comment on the fuel prices...well.....because they're just crazy everywhere these days! We'll be back!

Visited for Derby 2012. Excellent location north of the river, 3 miles from 3+ star hotels. About 12 miles from Churchill Downs. Be strategic with the drive to the track as traffic gets heavy and at certain times the Cabs can't go all the way. Honaker Aviation was some of the best service I've ever seen. Offered to hangar airplane if weather got bad. On walk-around for departure found a bird's nest on top of right row of cylinders. (Bring air intake covers as this is a common problem here) Kevin and a lineman wasted no time towing the plane to the hangar and assisting in the cleanup. A great crew I highly recommend.
