No one home. No answer on the phone number at the FBO door. No courtesy car. No rentals nearby practically available (> $25 for two hours). In the middle of a Saturday afternoon with beautiful weather, the airport and airspace were strangely deserted. Self-service gas was $5.10 a gallon, but in these times, that was not bad. Note the gas pump handle is not clearly labeled (it might have been in the past), but it is to the right of the credit card input and looks like a widget intended to have something connected to it. There was some possibly new asphalt near the gas pump (hard to tell if new or whether 60 degree weather was melting a particular patch of the tarmac). but we got tar all over our shoes and more. The pluses: beautiful landscape, and the runway was in decent shape. Might want to call ahead if you know you are going this way.
