I would like to rebut the comments made on 1/19/2011. I have been going to this airport for two years now and the staff there has been nothing but helpful! This little FBO has all the great feel of a small airport and amenities to boot. See http://www.midcoastregionalairport.com. I do business with Fort Stewart and have been treated excellent each time. Even though I fly only a little Piper Warrior, the staft has gone above and beyond to make sure I have what I need. I have used their loaner vehicle, board room, and the lobby. The bathrooms are super-clean and the Flight Planning area is more than adequate. Hinesville is not a big town, so, I wouldn't dismiss the airport because the town doesn't have the food you like. Do your research before you go somewhere and complain! Google is great for finding what you need....and if Hinesville doesn't have what you are looking for, then move on. Fort Stewart is a great base and the 3ID deserve all our prayers and support. Rock of the Marne!

We had a NLG tire go flat on landing on a Friday afternoon while stopping in and Barry was a great help. He went out of his way to help us and supply some tools. We will be making Ft. Stewart our stop on the way to the Bahamas from Rock Hill from now on. They also have very reasonable fuel prices. We would just like to thank Barry again for all his help.

This very user friendly airport continues to develop nicely. There is major repair for powerplant and airframe available and the FBO is comfortable, service friendly and customer oriented. I enjoy flying in and out of here more all the time.

Charlie Martin at MidCoast Regional went above and beyond the call of duty, when he stayed over hours and asked Enterprise Rental to leave our car. We had failed to remember the time change and arrived shortly after their closing hours; we really appreciated his good attitude and helpfulness in staying open and keeping our car on the field for us.
