Even though KLIT is a Class C airport with a lot of commercial traffic it's an easy airport for G.A. aircraft to operate. We stayed several days over Thanksgiving visiting our son & service from Central (north) was excellant. Help with our considerable baggage was offered before I thought to ask & plane was fueled and brought up front as requested for departure. Insde & out first class. We'll be back.

Overnight stay at Central Flying Service. Indifferent service, high prices. Asked for top-off; was 7 gal short (for 81g total fuel that's a lot). Question about water resulted in a kurt nod towards a vending machine. Will try Supermarine next trip.

Supermarine staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they charge quite a bit less for Avgas than the other FBO. No tie downs available yet, but they will be putting them in soon. Marshaled us in to parking place, helped with luggage, gave a ride across airport, etc. Easy access right on the SW corner of the airport, beside the threshold for Rwy 36.
