6/2/12 overnighted on the ramp. Fuel price is high. Brendan was the consumate lineman and was most helpful.

great way to get to charleston. no landing or overnight fee like executive and fuel much cheaper. hertz dropped a car for an after hours arrival. chris at atlantic did a great job. we'll definitely return for our next trip.

Stopped there for a visit to Charleston. Very difficult to find transportation to downtown. I was told by the airport employee that taxis are reluctant to come all the way out there. But he was very helpful & stayed after normal operating hours & made phone calls to find me a cab. Thank you! Word of advice: arrange your transportation in advance.

Stopped for fuel and a quick bite. No courtesy car available. Very nice terminal for a smaller airport.

Nice quiet little airport. FBO was very helpful in arranging for a ride into Charleston and assisting with overnight lodging. Nice facility as well.

Flew in yesterday for my first visit of 2011. As always a great place to visit. As we drove from airport I noticed 7 or 8 white tail deer on the runway side of the fence on southeast side of property. They were well away from taxiway but still on wrong side of fence. Prior to an after dark departure as I approached my plane tied down on the north end of the apron I saw a really nice buck with a near-by doe run off to edge of woods. Thankfully that was all that I saw before my departure and return to KLKR.

Nice, low key airport. Runway is only 3700' but plenty adequate for the sort of aircraft that takeoff and land here. Attractive terminal building too! Mike Whitt, N32SF
