The terminal restaurant is closed as reported by ANUTHJ. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way by arriving for lunch and finding the terminal deserted. Plenty of traffic in the pattern though. Luckily a fellow member was there at the same time and suggested Cherry Ridge (N30) which is only 23 miles away.

Food is good at the Altitude on field cafe. I just moved my plane to a hangar for less than $250.00 a month - which seems to be a bargain for the area. I guess I'm a resident. Taxiways just repaved - county is building some new hangars that should be done this year - and - they are building a new crash facility to house their firetrucks. Somebody is putting some cash into the place. Airport staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Avgas seems way too expensive - so I usually fuel up elsewhere. Wind seems to favor being at right angles to the runway - so come practice your crosswinds.

landed there on 10/08/10. Fuel dispenser and credit card machine worked fine. Recommend that folks coming in from the north, south or east utilize flight following due to heavies descending into NYC airports. Saw no little planes. Airport is sadly very under utilized. Restaurant owner told me this is his last year there and will close soon. If you want food make sure you call and check that they are still open. Also, they close at 1400.
