Was at Dutchess Aviation tonight and they are running a special on fuel prices. Current weekday price is $5.89/gal; Fall Weekend special is $5.64/gal (good Oct 5th thru Nov 4th). If you talk to the line guys they have coupons for $.25 off/gal of 100LL & $.10 off each gallon of AVGAS.

So far my only visit to KPOU was hauling two boisterous, half-grown Labrador retrievers on the middle leg of a Pilots N Paws transport in December 2011. The line crew at Dutchess Aviation (located at the main terminal) was incredibly friendly and helpful -- didn't just park us and pump fuel, but aided us in getting the dogs unloaded, walked, and loaded onto the next plane for the final leg. They even found me some fresh batteries for my camera after it died. I don't know anything one way or the other about the other FBOs on these field, but I can recommend Dutchess Aviation wholeheartedly -- especially if you're travelling with animals. Great guys!

Another great visit to Dutchess County Airport to visit Grandma. The guys on the line at the main terminal did a great job as always with gas and a Hertz Rental car. They pulled the rental car out to the airplane and helped us unload all our luggage. I would highly recommend stopping in for any visit the Hudson Valley.

We arrived on Friday of Labor Day weekend. Had spoken to Denise at the main terminal earlier in the week. She lined up a car for us and Matt met us on the ramp with our car, helped us load up and we were on our way. Tony was there on Sunday when we left and the same scenario played out in reverse. We drove the car to the plane, he helped us load up and took care of other incidentals for us. We can't say enough about the great service we receive from the main terminal personnel. It is a joy to travel to POU.
