First time (and first big family trip) from KMYF to KSBP and as others have said, San Luis Jet Center and SL Tower couldn't have been better or friendlier. The arrival and departure via Tower was perfectly smooth and easy. The Jet Center had the guide cart ready to guide us in, and our rental car was pulled up to our super-impressive rental 182 before we barely had gotten out of the plane. My wife remarked it was like we had just come in on NetJets. The service and consideration was the same. The Jet Center is also a very comfortable FBO - very friendly, attentive staff, high quality seating area, food, coffee and restrooms, and an updated pilot planning area. Looking forward to coming back very soon.

Flew into SBP yesterday for an overnight and parked our planes at the San Luis Jet center. Just a 172 and 182 but we got the red carpet treatment. Their staff brought out a cart to load up 5 adults and one small kid and all of our stuff and even gave me a ride to the terminal to pick up a rental car we arranged through another company. I've stopped at San Luis Jet Center a couple times before and the service and friendliness has always been top rate. I highly recommend them!

It appears PCF has ceased to function as an FBO. We put in a request on their web site for a top off and rental car after our flight from Arizona. It was our first trip to San Luis Obispo. Landed and no follow-me. Asked tower for directions to PCF. Got there and still no one. Taxied around and finally pulled into a tiedown by PCF and shut down only to be told could not stop there, it was for the PCF flight school. People at San Luis Jet Center FBO came over and told us PCF had stopped providing fuel. Funny, that was not mentioned when I called PCF earlier in the day to change the time for the rental car. Turns out they didn't even have the car. People at San Luis Jet Center FBO couldn't have been more helpful. Got us moved and the rental car in just a few minutes. San Luis Obispo may only have one FBO now, but it is a great one!

Was tied down at San Luis Jet Center for two days and during the preflight discovered a leaking valve cover which had oiled the engine compartment. Their mechanic got right on the repair and installed a new valve cover gasket, cleaned the engine compartment all in an hour and got us on our way. This prompt outstanding service was performed on a Friday afternoon and even though we didn't buy any fuel.

Used this airport to visit my dad with our oldest son last weekend. I called ahead and decided to use PCF aviation. Amazing outfit very friendly staff, they even have free sandwiches on Fridays. There was no ramp fee and in fact since our plane stayed on their ramp there was not even an overnight fee. They also seem to have the least expensive full serve fuel prices. The Spirit of St. Luis restaurant had some pretty good food, and not just good for an airport restaurant but actually pretty good food outright. The prices are average. The airport was easy to get in and out of. We didn't rent a car since we had family to pick us up and drop us off, but I did see that car rental is available. Since there is commercial/Airline activity there you want to keep in mind that there is a fair amount of traffic.
