Landmark Aviation is a MUST!!! Great staff and friendly faces willing to help in any way. Gorgeous facility with an upstairs pilot lounge with plenty of sofas, flat screen tv's, vending machines and quiet rooms to take a little nap. The overnight ramp fee was $5 a night for my Comanche 250. Cant beat that. I will definately be back. The only negative experience was on departure. Tower cleared me to depart then never released me to talk to anyone else. By the time I asked tower if they wanted me to switch to Phoenix Approach I was well into Class B airspace and tower told me that I was no longer with them and that "I better talk to someone". Phoenix Approach was very helpful and friendly though. You might want to take that into consideration when departing SDL.

I would like to second the earlier compliment regarding Landmark Aviation at Scottsdale Airport. After parking my Skylane on the ramp among a bevy of corporate jets, I was treated yesterday with professionalism and courtesy by both line staff and front desk personnel during my one day call to the area. Kudos for this friendly group.
