Great fly-in location if you are going to the Wright Patterson Museum! I flew into KSGH on 10/21. S-Jet is a great group to work with but Shelly and Paul in particular get a double thumbs up! They had a car ready for me and made sure my airplane was safely tucked away in the hangar for the night. The next day they had me fueled up and ready to go - one of the guys even offered to hand prop my airplane (1947 Cessna 140)! He seemed disappointed when I told him I had a starter :-) I can't recommend the folks at S-Jet enough. I'll be back with a bunch of friends in the spring!

What a pleasant experience. S Jet had the rental car ready and really made us feel welcome. Good recommendations on places to eat etc. Check the notams. Runway 24 was closed on our arrival. We will be back.

Flew into KSGH on Monday May 2, 2011, departed May 5. Tower now only operates Tuesday through Friday. S Jet folks were very friendly and had the rental car waiting. As the business information indicates they do not monitor the unicom. No fee to park and tie down. I could not get Springfield flight academy at the phone number listed. The ANG has apparently moved off the field so activity there is fairly low.
