On Wednesday 8-8, I stopped at Dolphin after much concern from reading here. I made a call to Dolphin and was assured that there was no landing fee or minimum fuel. I went there because of close proximity to final destination. I was treated well. Fuel wasn't outrageous either. Facilities seemed nice, although I was pretty much in and out. Try them again. I had a pleasant experience.

If you go to Dolphin be prepared to give up a $100.00 fee or buy at least 50 gal of very expensive fuel. Pretty tough for a quick trip.

I love going to SRQ and Rectrix. 15gal of fuel and parking is free onwards. 4c difference between self-service and full service. Nice people.

Visited SRQ for a weekend. Rectrix folks were very attentive and served us Saratoga folks with the same degree fo care they were providing to the jets across the ramp. Provided hangar space at a very reasonable rate. No surprises and no delays. These folks were professionals from arrival to departure.

Rectrix has a phenomenal FBO. The building is gorgeous, the women are beautiful, the customer service they offer is above par, and their prices are cheap. Drinks, dippin dots, snacks, etc. are all free. Fuel is being sold at cost right now.

Today was my first experience with APP and I was duly impressed. They were attentive to my ramp requirements and helped set up my rental car for the day. They even delivered the car to my Cessna as we deplaned. Everyone I talked to or met seemed to go out of their way to help me with my needs. Special thanks to Tom, Leslie, and James for a job well done. APP will continue to get my business and I highly recommend them at SRQ.

When visiting, be sure to visit APP Jet Center (formerly known as Jones and Volo). Top-shelf service, and very friendly staff! I've had previous dealings with Dolphin Aviation, and, well, let's just say never again. APP gets my vote!

Jones (now known as Volo) is definitely the place to go. Dolphin features much higher prices and snooty arrogant personnel who will treat you with contempt unless you show up in a G-4.
