Fuel has not been over $5.00/gal, but approaching. KSWI tries to keep the lowest fuel in the area. Look at prices in McKinney and Addison. There are no resturants on the field. You have to go into town. There are nice places on Texoma Parkway and US-75 not far away. Generally the airport car is available. I am sure the FBO will gladly help suggest a place to eat.

The courtesy car was not available. Appears the fbo owner lets people use his personal car, but he was not there. A taxi ride, short about 2 miles, to an extremely poor mexican restaurant cost $10 each way. Fuel was over $5.00. I would not stop there again.

A previous post mentioned a restaurant just outside the fence. I don't think there is one that I have seen but wish there was. The previous Poster may have been thinking of the nearby KGYI airport (North Texas Regional) where they do have a place to eat. If there is a place eat just outside the fence please tell us which way to go.

A favorite place of mine to go, fuel always on the low cost side. Only 1 pump so you have to wait sometimes. The terminal building looks like it was built in the 1950's and the whole place has the feel of a by gone era. All in a good way! I like it!

Airport now has a restaurant, just outside the perimeter fence. Closed on Sundays.
