Flew to York from KIPJ. Friendly place. There is a Restaurant on airport (closed Mondays). Good help with minor fuel tank problem on my aircraft. Great place. Thanks York.

I flew into York airport for the first time this morning from Frederick. I wasn't really sure where to park when going to the Kitty Hawk restaurant, so we made our own parking spot. As we were walking into the restaurant, a nice guy came out with the tow and moved us just a little. I ate french toast and bacon and it was good/typical and a typical cup of diner coffee. We will definitely return for more breakfast flights.

York Airport and the Kittyhawk Restaurant are probably my favorite places to go for a lunch or breakfast flight. Great FBO management and front desk service, nice facilities that are always clean and well maintained, and a super restaurant always make for a fun trip. Flew into KTHV for the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff at the FBO is very friendly and helpful. They found a spot in the heated hanger for my plane, filled her with fuel and put her away for me. Because it was a muti-day visit (hangered 4 nights) they gave me a small break on the hanger cost and fuel. When I was a little concerned about nose wheel strut looking a little low, the mechanic in the hanger gave it a quick look and assured it was ok. There is a RCO for Harrisburg Approach/Departure so picking up a clearance while on the ground was easy. We ate the restaurant one afternoon, my wife had the crab cake sandwich and it was very good. My cheese steak was a bit of a disappointment. We enjoyed meeting and talking with a couple local pilots in the FBO. The whole place had a friendly, relaxed feel. We will return
