Flew in for breakfast. Service was great. Ask for the weight watches omelet made with the gecko eggs. Don't park in front of the hangar next to the cafe. Great downwind and base view of the Gulf.

Runway 13 - 31 was rehabilitated several years ago and in excellent condition. The AOPA note on Runway13 - 31 does not reflect the rehabiliation.

Lots of good things going on at the Venice Airport. Sun Coast Cafe open for lunch and breakfast with exceptional runway view. Great fish. Runway 13-31 in excellent shape and City working to get 4-22 (soon to be 5-23) rehabilitated. Honoluana Restaurant also open for lunch. Traffic pattern can still be goosey so watch out. New AWOS (119.275) operational also.
