Stopped to refuel at 4 p.m. at Wiggins on a Bar Harbor to BWI flight. Upon start, 1/8th blade turn and then starter was toast! Before I was even able to access the situatioin the Wiggins counter crew had provided a mechanic and had made arrangements for us to spend the night. In the next hour we located a replacement to be UPSed in the next morning. One of the best mechanics I have ever met did the installation and we were on our way at 4 the next afternoon. What could have been a very anxious time turned out to be actually relaxing. The Wiggins people were one step ahead of us all the way, excellent people, give them your business.

Parked at Wiggins over the Memorial Day holiday. Purchasing fuel on a weekend reduced the purchase price by $0.50/gal, plus they waived the $10.00 parking fee. Line staff very helpful and polite. You can rent Hertz at Wiggins. When I asked the receptionist how to get to the Hertz counter at the commercial terminal, she moved the reservation to Wiggins and gave us a great deal for a weekend rental.

I picked up my son and his friend from a ski trip out west and parked (C-177) at Wiggines Airways Inc. Friendly people and was able to use the crew car to pick them up at the terminal. Small $10.00 facility fee, which would have been waved if I bought fuel. Great place very helpful. I did have to pay $8.00 to park the crew van at the terminal.
