I travel to Freeport often by air and boat and have been doing so for over 15 years. Freeport is a great weekend get-a-way and if you like to fish, drink, and enjoy good Island food, Freeport is the place for you. The Port Lucaya area has a Square with shops, restaurants, and bars that offers something for everyone. Agave is owned by a friend of mine and it is a great place also. You will find everyone friendly and Freeport is one of the cleanest islands in the Caribbean. - Hope to see you soon. Safe Flying!

Get to Freeport often and find it an easy in and out. We didn't pay a landing fee however, that might be because of familiarity? One of our favorite places is Margaritta Villa, a little eatery/bar right on the beach. Like most places in the islands it's friendly and the food is descent. Headed back over on the 13th of February . . ., a Valentine's present to keep me in good graces. Happy flying!

Great get away. Friendly controllers and locals. 100LL was 6.128/gal, $10 landing fee, $25 parking for two nights. Radisson @ Our Lucaya has everything. Eat at Pieces, Agave & Zorba's.
