Great FBO, had 8 golfers and we were treated with a courteous friendly staff. They let us use their crew car to get our rental, no problems. They had my airplane refueld before we left their terminal and gave us hanger parking due to incoming storms. 5 days of great golf and no airplane worries. I would recommend this FBO to anyone that wants great service.

Regarding car rental: Use caution when renting from National, a week ago I phoned all 3 of the featured car rentals on this site: AOPAs Airports. I wanted a 7 pass. van for golfers. Rates were fairly competive, however a quote from National of $509.49 for our time period seemed best, reservations were made, given a confirmation number, email was to follow. Called back account of no email, my name was misspelled, however now the $$ jumped to $1127.49. They would not honor the quote I was given by their representive. Make sure to get an email & make sure to check it.

Stopped in for a short visit to Myrtle Beach and I must say that this FBO is one of the best I've visited. They met me on the ramp with an ice cold bottle of water (97 today ), borrowed their courtesy car and had a great time. I will definitely be back. Very nice people.

Feb 2012 - We stopped in both directions NJ - Bahamas - NJ. FBO is as friendly and helpful as it gets. Line staff second to none. Plentiful overnight accommodations and restaurants. We had no issue with rental car delivery. Will definitely use the airport again!

One of the more enjoyable controlled fields to fly in to. Pleasantly surprised to find that ramp fee is no longer charged if you buy fuel. Until recently it was $15/day regardless. Upon reaching my aircraft I was approached by a FAA representative doing ramp checks. He was courteious and quick.. I did find out that the FAA is around there a lot. Apparently there is an A&P school on the field hence the numerous ramp checks. I got this from the FBO folks. No problem at all, but make sure you have your medical and license on you for sure.

GA on the opposite side of the field from the commerical terminal. $17 cab ride between the two! Folks at FBO were very nice. Enterprise rental car at the commerical terminal will not pick you up or drop you off from GA side.

Great FBO, new terminal building. Also, I recommend trying Cabana Shores Hotel 800-277-5762, on beach, 5 miles north of field, very reasonable rates, very clean rooms and it is located in residential area which is a plus and near everything. We ate at some great restaurants at Broadway at the Beach and definitely try Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse. Love to visit those places when in Myrtle Beach.

Great visit, they met us at the plane. Hertz delivers cars to the FBO but you cannot bring it on the ramp. FBO line guys loaded all our junk in a van and then loaded it in to the rental car. Very Nice people. We had a carb heat problem and they gave us a number to call to get the work done. Executive Aero Jamie and Eddie did a great job fixed with no hassels plane was picked up and then back at the FBO cover back on and ready to go.
