My wife and I were vacationing in Hawaii over the Christmas / new years holiday and went glider riding. Even though the president was there and the severe restrictions they had on aircraft as usual, it was a fantastic experience. Don our pilot was great. All powered aircraft pilots should try this at least once. The glide ratio of our aircraft was 37 to 1. Also it is just so quiet. And what views. And everyone was Friendly. Will do it again!!!
