Had a great stopover at Cutter Aviation in Phoenix last month (02/12). I had my own ride to the hotel in Tempe, but on the return trip Cutter picked me up, along with my bicycle and luggage, on short notice. I was charged only for fuel. I recommend them highly... The Sky Harbor approach controllers were busy but friendly once I got their attention, and ground control was very helpful. All in all, an excellent trip to a very busy airport.

We stopped off at KPHX for fuel during a cross country from KWHP to KTPL after purchasing a new plane (new to me). The approach and tower guys didn't seem to have a lot of time for the slow GA single, with all the jet traffic they had, and the ground controller got upset at us when we had to stop taxiing due to an alternator problem during taxi for take-off (all understandable I suppose), but the folks at Cutter were about the nicest people around. We only took about fifty gallons of fuel, but weren't charged a ramp fee on top of that, they were all very polite and friendly; and even sent me a Christmas card (handwritten) after our visit.

We visited KPHX in our Mooney for a short meeting at a nearby hotel. We parked at Cutter, the best FBO we have found in more than 43 years of flying to many locations across the country. A friendly member of the Cutter Professional Staff met us at our airplane and drove us to their modern facility where they arranged the loan of a crew car and offered us bottled water. We provided them with identification and were escorted to their parking lot and given the keys to a nearly new car. When we returned about 2 hours later we were only charged for the 7 gallons of fuel we purchased but not for the car or the parking. The entire staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. A better FBO does not exist!
