First time into Palm Springs. It was busy with jet traffic, however, tower was fast, friendly, and helpful. Taxied to and parked at Atlantic. I would highly recommend Atlantic. They were extremely nice and Monica went out of her way to make sure our trip was flawless. Superb service. The Palm Springs Air Museum is worth the trip. It's a short walk or a shorter car ride. You can feel the energy and history of all of the aircraft and the Veteran docents are full of stories about harrowing experiences. Fly to Palm Springs! Park at Atlantic Aviation! Enjoy the Air Museum!

This was my first trip to Palm Springs. There was no traffic in the pattern and the folks in the tower were very friendly. Once on the ground, they gave me taxi instructions to the FBO, Signature Flight Support. As I left the taxiway, there was a golf cart waiting for me and I was led to my parking spot right in front of the Signature Facility. Signature Flight Support has to be the swankiest FBO I've ever visited. The facility is new and beautiful, and they have every amenity you can imagine. I would have been embarrassed to be there with my little Gobosh if the people working there hadn't been so darn helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Palm Springs as a destination for a one-day vacation or a fly-in with your friends. I would wait until it is a little cooler, though. It was over 100 degrees when I was there. According to the folks at the FBO, the best time to go there is between October and June.
