Great extended stay in ROA area. Landmark could not have been more courteous or accommodating. Tie down fee only $5/night. Newly updated facility--VERY nice. Many nearby wonderful restaurants so make use of courtesy car.

I fly to Roanoke once a year for a business meeting. Line crew are very friendly and willing to help in any way. The ladies inside are also very friendly. I recommend this airport and FBO if going to the Roanoke area.

Airport in excellent condition. Tower always helpful. Landmark FBO charges $10 fee for small aircraft, but have courtesy car to run to nearby mall for meals. I've been in/out of this airport about 10 times in the last two years, never had a problem.

Its been 6 years since I've posted a comment. Tiedown fees continue to go up significantly; but they do have many more tiedowns available. FBO personnel are friendly as are line crew. I think it is only one person in the tower who gets grouchy; this is less often now. The LDA-6 is a great approach for those who want to practice offset precision approaches (it has a glide slope). Fuel prices are high, go to KMTV for good prices.
