I recently flew two Angel Flights through RST. On the first one I didn't buy anything and all fees were waived. On the second visit, I bought fuel and a quart of oil. The "landing/service fee" was waived ($0.00), but on another line of the charges I got socked for a $5.xx "infrastructure fee". The people are friendly and nice enough, but there seems to be a lack of standards when it comes to fees and extras.

The service at Signature has always been quite cordial, However I have always been charged a substantial "handling fee" even when I have done nothing other that a quick turn around to pick up passengers. It's extremely irksome to have folks feel that they can charge you for occupying a few yards of asphalt for a few minutes at a public airport for "services" that one has neither requested nor needed.

However the people were very friendly and helpful and I have landed there once before when I was a student pilot and received no charges or ramp fees.

I frequently fly in/out of RST with Angel Flight or AirLifeLine Pilots, and use Signature Flight Services. I also fly there periodically for instrument proficiency training. Whether I buy fuel or now, the inside staff and line crew have been nothing but helpful, professional, and courteous. On occasion I have used their crew car to pick up a bite to eat. There is never a suggestion of a charge, always courteous and helpful. The also offer free fax service to transmit patient agreements to Angel Flight or AirLifeLine - and appear truly appreciative of my providing this service to patients. I cannot say enough good about these folks! I am disappointed to read some of the other postings, and would encourage those who have concerns to talk to Signature's management to resolve the issues.
