Atlantic Aviation is best ever FBO in Santa Barbara out of my 34k flying hours. I would stay away from Signature and gunzhard needs to change his medication. Everybody else is correct in their statements. No more needs to be said.

I love Signature, very professional always been threated with courtesy and respect even when I'm flying my usual old 172 rental. Last trip was on Halloween and workers Denise and Bebe were super pleasant, supportive and even recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch which I drove in their "crew-car" Mustang convertible. Don't get why people "slam" Signature, is far better service than Atlantic which I will no longer patronize for numerous reason I won't mention at this time. So take from me, if you haven't tried Signature, tried them and then compare with other FBOs and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Really nice airport and a amazing view if your coming from the south side. Atlantic Air is very beautiful FBO with beautiful girls working there. Got a curtesy shuttle to the Beach Side cafe, all the staff we came across with were friendly and polite. The parking fee was waved with fuel purchased. I recommend to use Atlantic as a parking spot. One precaution, when landing the is a elevation difference where RWY 15L and 25 intercepts and if you land on it , you will feel it. Two thumbs up for Atlantic!!!!!

I agree about Atlantic - a nice FBO, pretty girls at the counter, and it's walking distance (~10 minutes) from the beach. They offered us their bikes, but we decided to walk instead. The parking fee is waived with fuel purchase (it's WAY overpriced though - 7.20/gal today).

I have to agree with most of the comments made here. I once went to Signature and that was one to many times. The unfortunate thing about SBA is they have no transient parking. Absent this luxury, Atlantic is the best bet. I go there frequently with my wife to visit friends in Santa Barbara and Atlantic always seems to be able to accommodate us. We are a single engine Bonanza and like the rest of general aviation not crazy about paying high ramp fee's especially if you are just dropping off or picking up someone. But at Atlantic they seem sensitive to our needs and don't look down there noses at us. Kudos to the management team at Atlantic.

Yeah don't hear to much good things about Signature Aviation, but on the other side of the Airport at Atlantic Aviation it seems to be the complete opposite , I landed there and they were all super nice and helpful, We landed and parked there and they recommended the Seaside Cafe , about 10 min walk but they also offered to drive us there , we walked anyway, the Cafe is right on the Beach and is a really nice place and food is good too, Back at Atlantic aviation there was a $25 parking fee, but they offered to waive it with a 7 gal fuel purchase,

Do not under any circumstances patronize Signature aviation. They gouge GA pilots big time. I stopped there on Saturday to pick up a passenger in my Seneca and they wanted to charge me $68 for a "handling fee." When I bought $250 worth of gas (at more than $5.80 per gallon!!) they waived the handling fee. The very next day, Sunday, I stopped to discharge the same passenger. I left immediately but they retained my passenger and threatened him that they would somehow top me unless HE paid another $68. He did under protest. This place is a complete ripoff.
