About AOPA Airports™, AOPA's airport directory

AOPA Airports™, AOPA's airport directory has served AOPA members for over 26 years through print, and over 10 years through electronic media. AOPA Airports presents official airport and facilities data from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), including National Aeronautical Navigation Services (formerly known as NACO). To complement the official information, the directory also displays information collected from business managers, airport managers, certificated flight instructors, flight schools, and pilots. Fuel prices are provided by individual business managers who sell fuel.

AOPA Airports is updated with official data from the FAA every 56 days, in conjunction with the FAA's update cycle. AOPA Airports is updated with National Aeronautical Navigation Services taxi diagrams every 28 days, in conjunction with its update cycle.

The National Aeronautical Navigation Services does not include taxi diagrams for all airport listings. For airports with published instrument approaches, AOPA creates simplified versions of taxi diagrams using airport diagrams published in US Terminal Procedures. These unofficial, AOPA-edited diagrams are displayed in the directory's printable kneeboard format as an added value for pilots.

AOPA Airports directory information is avaialble in the following mobile applications: AOPA FlyQ Pocket, powered by Seattle Avionics, is available for iPhone and Android smartphones. Blackberry® and touch screen Windows Mobile® versions of AOPA Airports are available through a partnership with Hilton Software, LLC. AOPA Airports mobile applications are exclusive to AOPA members.
