Goodwin...02/12/2013..Canadian visitor. We arrived at KFDK on a flight from KINT. No problems all along the route until it came time to get the info on FDK. We checked our latest 2012 AOPA paper directory and there were no frequencies listed for Tower or Ground or ATIS. Surprising given that this is the home airport of AOPA. Landmark was as others have commented..Excellent. Everyone was very helpful. We had an issue getting eAPIS to accept Frederick as a departure point. A fine Frederick area pilot informed me that we had to use KBWI as our departure point ....bingo we were on our way. Thank you again sir. We'll definitely be back ..in the near future.

Landmark is outstanding. The waiting area downstairs is luxurious and onfortable. Upstairs is the Pilot's Lounge. Very nicely done.

Yesterday another pilot and I flew to the airport for lunch. When we landed we were directed by Ground to the restaurant and had some difficulty because none of the taxi ways had any markings. When we left we were given directions to Runway 30, again although we had an airport diagram with marked taxi ways we needed progressive taxi to find the unmarked taxi ways. I found this to be surprising since AOPA is located on the field and they constantly stress the importance of knowing what airport signs mean.

Once again the service at Landmark was outstanding. As always very helpful at the desk. Lineman serviced the tires on a cold and windy January day and didn't charge for it. Much appreciated.

Had to use FDK when weather forced a reroute. Landmark was very helpful even with a late evening arrival. They found us a hotel and arranged a for a cab. Wish we had had time to visit AOPA hqtrs. Self service fuel was nice.

Bob, The Landmark ARINC frequency is the one to use to call the fuel truck: 130.275.

I KEEP MY BONANZA AT FDK AND LANDMARK SERVICES IT VERY WELL I MIGHT ADD, I HATE TO USE THE UNICOM FREQ TO ASK FOR FUEL AT MY HANGAR SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THE FREQ IS TO ASK FOR A FUEL TRUCK? THANKS BOB bf4900@aol.com

I stopped in there they seemed very customer friendly gave me a ride to aopa building on the cart and offered to wait on me out side. I would return.

Sure hope folks flying into Frederick will stop in and visit the staff at AOPA headquarters. We love to visit with members from all around the country. Please come by and say "hi" when you're in the area. And oh yes, please be careful of the ADIZ and P-40. :)
