Office of the President
301/695-2014
As AOPA president, Phil Boyer is the nation's leading advocate for general aviation. On Capitol Hill and across the United States, Boyer campaigns against unreasonable regulation, excessive taxation, and unjustified constraints on general aviation.
President Boyer is a 7,000-hour instrument- and multiengine-rated pilot who has been flying for more than 38 years, 20 years of those as an aircraft owner.
Since he took the "left seat" at AOPA in January 1991, membership has grown 25 percent to more than 413,000.
