I Know What You Did Last Summer

According to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, more than 20,000 private pilot certifications were issued by the Federal Aviation Administration last year.  Among those who joined the ranks of certified pilots is CBS News reporter Dave Price, who fulfilled his lifelong dream of learning to fly by getting his pilot's training and certification at Century Air in Essex County, N.J., this summer. In a report that recently aired on "The Early Show" on CBS, Price noted that he has spent the last three years learning to fly on an N506 Sierra Papa.  Price added that he currently is transitioning to a Cirrus and trying to become an instrument-rated pilot.  Price said that while flying is a constant challenge and a continuous learning experience, it is something he loves immensely.  "The great thing about flying, it's beautiful and it's peaceful," he said.  "There are no cell phones, no BlackBerrys, no meetings, nothing but blue sky above and the gorgeous landscape below.  It gives you a great sense of peace, it really does."
