Let your dream of becoming a pilot begin at Summit
By AOPA ePublishing staff
Bring your questions about flight training to the Learn to Fly Centers at AOPA Aviation Summit. AOPA’s qualified staff of pilots and certificated flight instructors will be ready to answer your questions about training programs, certificate options, and all things related to becoming a pilot.
At the Tampa Convention Center's exhibit hall, AOPA’s Learn to Fly Center will feature a Frasca Cirrus SR22 flight training device, courtesy of Glass Simulator Center of Sugar Grove, Ill. Be sure to stop by and test your skills.
Frasca C172 Mentor(TM) simulator flights, provided by Epic Aviation of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., will be offered at the Learn to Fly Center at Peter O. Knight Airport. After your simulated flight, you can sign up for a $70 Discovery Flight, provided by Atlas Aviation, a Cessna Pilot Center.
You can get information on AOPA programs that support your flight training efforts at both Learn to Fly Centers.
Beyond the Learn to Fly Centers, Summit offers hundreds of exhibitor booths featuring aviation gadgets and pilot gear, and an extensive aircraft display. There will also be a full schedule of daily aviation seminars, with topics ranging from learning to fly to pilot safety and aircraft ownership. To learn more, and to register, visit the Web page.
