Jan. 23 —This week saw our/your Twin Comanche undergoing some serious airframe and engine work. Williams Airmotive re-worked and re-skinned the airplane's control surfaces — including the entire stabilator — and sent them to LoPresti Speed Merchants in Vero Beach, Florida. LoPresti is handling all the airframe work, as well as installing all of their speed modifications. New fuel cells from Eagle Fuel Cells have also arrived at LoPresti's shop and so have the re-worked engine mounts and vibration isolators from Kosola and Associates. The finishing touches are being made on the J. L. Osborne wingtip fuel tank installation.

Meanwhile, up at Penn Yan Aero in New York where the engines are being overhauled, all of the Superior Air Parts Millenium cylinders have been installed, as well as the new starters, fuel pumps, fuel system plumbing, and ignition harnesses from Kelly Aerospace. Sets of GAMIjectors have also been installed.
