It's done! But not flight tested

Oct. 20 The AOPA Waco UPF-7 is complete, but frankly we ran out of time to complete flight testing and then fly it 1,470 nm from Rare Aircraft in Owatonna, Minnesota, to Palm Springs where AOPA Expo begins in a few days. Instead, Rare Aircraft will fly a similar Waco to Expo. The crew at Rare Aircraft worked long days and weekends for the past two months to try to finish the open-cockpit biplane and deserves a pat on the back for their efforts, and a well-deserved break. The aircraft will be test flown after Expo. Photos are being taken of the completed aircraft, and you will see those soon. The first to see them will be attendees at Expo. After that, look for them on the Web, ePilot, and in AOPA Pilot.
