Aviation and AOPA Events

Tampa, Florida

November 5 - 7, Thursday - Saturday

Don’t miss the AOPA Aviation Summit, the premier annual aviation exposition. It’s everything you’ve come to expect from AOPA and more.

AOPA has transformed its annual convention and exposition to an all-new Aviation Summit. The Summit’s collaborative, hands-on environment is designed to bring together pilots, aircraft owners, aviation businesses, students, enthusiasts, and policy makers and provide new power to shape the future of general aviation. And for the first time, AOPA will be reaching outside the aviation community to welcome the public into all general aviation has to offer.

The Summit will still offer all the great experiences you’ve come to expect including educational opportunities, an amazing exhibit hall with product demonstrations and presentations right on the exhibit floor. The aircraft display will be expanded and include a wider array of aircraft - everything from balloons to jets. There will be new opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with influential figures in aviation business and policy. You'll experience new fun aviation-themed events and local Tampa attractions.

Attendee Registration Opening Soon

Attendee Registration and Housing will open in Spring of 2009.

Please do not call Tampa hotels directly. AOPA has contracted for hotels in advance and offers the lowest price, guaranteed, for that time period.

Exhibiting and Sponsorship Opportunities

The Tampa Convention Center will host the exhibit hall and Peter O. Knight airport will host the aircraft display.

The Exhibitor Prospectus and Sponsorship Opportunities packages will be available in Spring of 2009.
