Aircraft ownership: Within your reach?

By AOPA ePublishing staff

Volunteers needed at Summit

AOPA needs volunteers from Sept. 21 through 25 at Hartford-Brainard Airport to help park more than 1,000 aircraft that will be flying to Summit! Volunteers also can help direct the flow of traffic and people, and provide general guidance at Airportfest.

If you work five hours or more, you'll receive an AOPA Aviation Summit Seminars & Exhibits pass (a $55 value)! Those who help for three or more shifts will also receive a special certificate of gratitude from AOPA.

Used aircraft prices are coming down. Now could be the perfect opportunity to explore whether switching from renting to owning is right for you.

Thinking about buying an aircraft, especially your first aircraft, requires a lot of research. What’s the right aircraft for your mission? How much can you afford? Is co-ownership a better option?

Learn about the process and get advice from experts during seminars at AOPA Aviation Summit. Presenters will discuss the tax benefits of aircraft ownership, buying your first airplane, and saving money through aircraft partnership. AOPA will host a seminar on its new program, the Aircraft Partnership Program, which already has produced successful matches.

Whether you already own or plan to buy an older aircraft, the seminar on what you should know about aging aircraft could help save you time and money down the road.

Seminars will be offered each day of Summit, Sept. 22 through 24, in Hartford, Conn. Plan your schedule now to make sure you don’t miss any of the aircraft ownership seminars.

Register by Aug. 22 for AOPA Aviation Summit to take advantage of big savings!
