The valid travel dates for this discount are October 1 through October 19, 2013. You can easily access American’s fares and apply this discount by going to www.aa.com to book your flight. Amtrak operates a route between Chicago and San Antonio daily with a stop in Fort Worth. Use code FTW to view routes and prices at www.amtrak.com. The Amtrak Sunset Limited runs between Louisiana and California, Amtrak’s southern-most route. Settle back and watch the bayou country, Mexican border, southwestern deserts, and California mountains pass by your window.
Three trains depart weekly in each direction. Services on the Sunset Limited include Superliner Sleeping and Dining Car accommodations and spectacular views from the renowned Sightseer Lounge Car.
Fort Worth Convention Center
There are approximately 8 parking garages/lots within a 4 blocks surrounding the Fort Worth Convention Center, and the fee is currently $5-$15 per day for attendees.
Parking is available for guests of each of the official AOPA hotels. Downtown hotels will also offer limited paid daily parking for non-guests. Pricing and availability vary for each hotel.
Downtown Fort Worth Parking
All parking spaces in the downtown Fort Worth area is meter parking. Rates depend on the type of meter and need to be paid 8 AM – 6 PM Monday – Friday. After 6 PM, Saturdays and Sunday are free.
