'AOPA Pilot' launches new Web pages

See the award-winning articles from AOPA Pilot come to life in a new section of AOPA Online.

In the December issue, now in the mail to AOPA members worldwide, you'll read a tale about the hearty souls who revisit the Golden Age of aviation by barnstorming through modern-day Middle America. Through our new Web presence, you can hear the throaty rumble of those big radial engines on a 1929 Travel Air 4000 and a 1929 Fleet. Particularly if you live in the West, there's a fair chance that the Christmas tree you're buying sometime in the next couple of weeks was whisked from the forest to a truck by a JetRanger helicopter flown by Brian Reynolds. Our exclusive online video called Christmas Tree Transport captures his graceful flying as the helicopter does in seconds what it might take a tractor hours to accomplish.
