Aircraft owners get some tax relief

Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour has signed a tax bill that exempts the repairing and servicing of all aircraft. The bill was sponsored by Sen. Billy Hewes and essentially makes general aviation more affordable for the 2,500 AOPA members in the state. It goes into effect July 1.
