FAA plans to consolidate Beaumont, Texas, Tracon

Tracon consolidations are very much a thing of the future as the FAA looks for ways to cut costs. In Texas, the FAA plans to transfer the functions of the Beaumont Tracon to Houston. The agency will offer a public meeting on August 7 to discuss the matter. It will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Port Arthur YMCA, 6760 9th Avenue, Port Arthur, Texas.
