Event inspires youth to take wing

More than 300 students, faculty, parents, and guests from schools in the mid-Atlantic area attended the second Aviation Education Expo in Frederick, Md. Students explored the inside of military, corporate, and general aviation aircraft. In addition, AOPA had set up flight simulators. "It was a pleasure to be involved with this event to show local students what aviation has to offer," said AOPA President Phil Boyer. "The attendees enjoyed the flight simulators as a chance to get a feel for what it's like to fly." Read more on AOPA Online.
