D.C. ADIZ East Sector frequency changes

The FAA on Nov. 15 changed the VFR East Sector frequency that pilots use to contact air traffic control to enter the Washington, D.C., Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). The ADIZ East Sector frequency has changed to 132.775 MHz. The new frequency comes as part of the ADIZ redesign that went into effect in August. Air traffic controllers will continue to monitor the old frequency. The three ADIZ sector frequencies are printed in the FAA's Airport/Facility Directory, and the new frequency for the east sector will be published in the new edition scheduled for Dec. 21.
