Why I'm Interested in starting a club:
I got into flying about 18 years ago through my dad, got my pilots license when i was in collage, but then life happened and I was not able to get back to flying until 2006. I've been very lucky and for the past 6 years have been able have a job that allowed me the free time and money to keep flying. In 2012 I was finally able to obtain my CFI and I'm very happy teaching part time, sharing my passion for flying with others. But, one thing that always bothers me is when im talking to my students or prospective students, i can't give a good solution to a couple of basic problems.

1.- Why would I need a pilots license if i can't afford an airplane?
2.- Are we going to fly in that? ( the student or pilot pointing at a run down 1970's training C-172)

The best answer i always give is that, yes you can fly and not have to own an airplane and yes you can fly in something better, just not here. You need to go some place where they have a flying club or get a partnership on a plane. So i figure its about time i change that fact, and make great flying available to pilots or future pilots

Description of the hangar/clubhouse facilities:
The FBO at the airport has great facilities, i am renting both hanger space and an office at the FBO and could use my office as a club house if necessary.

Progress made towards starting the club:
As of today i am in the initial stages, i have been doing research on AOPA's website and have participated in the webinars, but im still trying to figure out how to get started.
