Club Facilities

Why I'm interested in starting a club:
I love to fly. I fly in a small community, but there are many different type of aircraft whe have planes located here and many types of plane who come to visit. Such as citation, king air, sometime vintage aircrafts. The airport is under the guidance of the local private college. As a student pilot, sure would like to be involved with a club here so tha we can get together and talk "airplane stuff". Also, I think it would help other pilots, etc to become safer pilots too.

Description of the hangar/clubhouse facilities:
The college owns the property and not sure of all the other obligations it has, but it has 3 Cessna 152 and 1 Seminole.

Progress made towards starting the club:
I understand that there used to be a club, mainly a college orientated club, but is inactive now. I think. I have not done anything, not sure what I should do, or how to get support and who would support such a program. How do we get a plane, what is involved in continuing or stating a club. How....mainly I like to see myself getting the enthusiasm back again. I think by getting together with fellow students and pilots can help us after reading AOPA magazines which I subscribe I saw this and thought this may be a good avenue to help. Me along with my life' s dream of being a pilot. Even if I don't get this scholarship, my main emphasis is HELP.

I am a private pilot living in Napa and would be interested in joining a club in this area. I don not own a plane but would like to rent or buy a fractional share.
