With plenty of sunshine in the forecast and a growing flock of general aviation aircraft descending on Lakeland, Fla., the fortieth Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-In and Expo was just about ready for the April 1 opening as AOPA Technical Editor Mike Collins circled the grounds with his camera in hand. The AOPA Sweepstakes Debonair, fitted with a fresh engine, was front-and-center at the AOPA tent, and it had plenty of company.

AOPA has a new location on the grounds (easier to find), and an expanded presence with more space and more to see and do. Check out the detailed schedule of AOPA activities, including autograph sessions, flight simulator challenges, and demonstrations of the latest products and gear.
