PilotWorkshops releases 'Real World VFR'

PilotWorkshops releases 'Real World VFR' video program.

Find a remote island airport at night, land at Boston’s Logan International Airport in a Cessna 172, fly the Hudson River VFR Corridor, encounter VFR flight into instrument conditions, and more in Real World VFR, a video program released Nov. 25 by AOPA Premier Partner PilotWorkshops.

Following a similar format to the company’s popular Real World IFR program, the VFR version includes recordings of 10 flights from beginning to end. Experienced pilot Keith Smith and veteran flight instructor Jeff Van West fly a Cessna 172 to show pilots how to handle “unusual takeoffs, approaches, landings, airports, airspace and navigation that could challenge any pilot flying VFR,” according to the website.

Each session includes pre- and post-flight briefings.
