King Schools’ flight instructor refresher course now includes more choice. As part of an update, the course that helps instructors renew their certificates includes five electives.
The new range of choices will enable learners to take a range of required modules and also choose from a few new ones, including teaching with flight simulation, teaching smart tablet usage, teaching icing survival, the new airman certification standards, and preparing an applicant for the practical test.
In all cases, the Kings say that the lessons are centered on the teacher and getting him or her the information necessary to better serve the student. “Our focus is on helping instructors teach,” John King said.
The new electives are included in the course’s $99 base price. Have King Schools complete the paperwork processing for you and the price is $124.95. Both airplane and helicopter versions of the course are available, and it works on an iPad, and all Windows, Apple, and tablet Web browsers.
