Redbird M-Series simulators now in Scottsdale

Legacy Flight Training’s Scottsdale, Arizona, location now has a full-motion Piper Meridian flight simulator from Redbird Flight Simulations.

Pilots and operators of Piper’s M-series airplanes—the Meridian, Mirage, and Matrix—can now take advantage of new features at Legacy Flight Training’s training center at the Scottsdale, Arizona, Municipal Airport. Legacy Flight Training announced that it has partnered with Redbird Flight Simulations to offer training in Redbird’s full-motion simulators, the first of which was recently delivered. The simulators can be configured with either Garmin’s G1000 or Avidyne’s Entegra avionics suites.

Legacy Flight Training, in business since 2010, is a FAASTeam-approved Authorized Piper Training Center. The first Legacy training center was established at Piper’s Vero Beach, Florida, location.

“This unique training is important to enhancing the skill and safety of Piper M-Class pilots worldwide,” said Simon Caldecott, President and CEO of Piper Aircraft. “When you purchase a Piper aircraft you purchase peace of mind and that includes access to quality training facilities with state of the art equipment like Legacy Flight Training.”

Training at the center is provided by an experienced staff with experience and knowledge specific to the PA-46. Jason Ottariano, the center director for Legac’s Scottsdale location, was recently named Flight Instructor of the Year for the state of Arizona, and was named the 2015 Regional Flight Instructor of the Year for the Western Pacific Region.
