In 2004, Brian Binnie was at the controls of SpaceShipOne on its second flight to space within a week to win the $10 million Ansari X Prize. About 25 years earlier he learned to fly in gliders with the Soaring Tigers flying club while a student at Princeton University. Today the Soaring Tigers continue to focus on flight training and provide one of the lowest cost points of entry into aviation.
